Unibet — $10 Weekly Free Bet on Accumulators
The Weekly Cycle
Place a qualifying accumulator during the week and a free bet is credited for the following weekend, whether the original bet won or lost. The value is fixed rather than proportional to the stake, so a small qualifying bet earns the same free bet as a large one.
That structure is unusual and worth exploiting correctly: the optimal qualifying bet is the smallest one that meets the minimum, not the largest one affordable.
Conditions
A minimum number of selections, usually three, each above a minimum price. The qualifying bet must be settled before the free bet is issued, which means a bet on a late fixture may miss the crediting window entirely.
The free bet itself expires within a few days of being issued. Unused, it lapses.
Getting Value From It
Free bets return winnings without the stake, so the price at which they are placed determines their real worth. Staked at 1.50 a $10 free bet returns $5; staked at 5.00 it returns $40. The expected value rises with the odds because the stake is never at risk.
The disciplined use is therefore to place free bets on longer-priced selections than would normally be backed with cash — not because those selections are better, but because the mechanism rewards variance in a way that a cash bet does not.
The undisciplined use, which the promotion quietly relies on, is placing the free bet on a short-priced favourite and collecting a few dollars.
Verdict
A genuinely low-friction recurring promotion: no rollover, no code, no deposit condition beyond the qualifying bet. The value is modest and it accumulates for a bettor who was placing weekend accumulators anyway.
As with every accumulator promotion, it does not offset the compounded margin on the qualifying multiple itself.
